Spells for Skyrim


This mod adds 40+ new and unique spell types. It adds beam, spray and projectile attacks. And I plan to do much more :)

This mod has several goals...

- Extend the Magic system of Skyrim without disturbing the current spell systems
- Maintain the balance of the combat system (WIP)
- Add a completely different way to obtain these spells from the normal system
- Add exciting quests and new worlds that make obtaining these spells fun (WIP)

There are 2 versions currently, the "Vendor" Version and the "Reactor" version. In the Vendor version, spells are purchased at the Riverwood Trader or from Endhir at Winterhold.

In the Reactor version, the spells are created alchemically through the use of Aurum Reactors throughout Skyrim. For now I am also maintaining a "for sale by vendor" option but once the reactor bugs are worked on this line will go away. Turn off Save on Travel if you use this version.

Installation
----------------------

1) Unzip in your Skyrim folder
2) At the Load Screen, Select Datafiles
3) Check MidasSkyrim.esp and "Load Loose Files"
4) Enjoy!

Note: If you're running Tytanis' Ultimate Mod. Please install Midas after it to ensure you have the most updated files.

Bugs
----------------------

- WARNING: Crashing may occur if you have Autosave active deactivate Save on Travel or save before entering areas with reactors.
- The spells aren't balanced yet. This is just for testing/fun for now.
- Conjured items caused CTD in one test
- Polymorph Hare may not always work
- Dragonling doesn't fight yet
- Luggage doesn't carry items yet
Note:This seems to be related to the game remembering older versions of the mod and is sporadic. To mitigate this, either start a new game or Save before entering the Riverwood Trader or the Midden.
